Well, our girls have grown up and are no longer Brownies. They are now Junior Girl Scouts.
I thought I would start a blog for everyone to have a place to go to to see what we have been up to.
Here I will post photos of our outings, talk about what is coming up in the future, give any news and answer questions any parents may have.
For now, I just wanted to welcome you all here and share a few photos from when the girls "flew up" from being Brownies to Junior Girl Scouts.
The photo above shows the girls as they are walking towards their future and leaving the old Brownie days behind.

Letting the brown balloons go and watching them as they fly upwards is a symbol of letting go of the old Brownie ways and flying up to being a Junior Girl Scout.
Everyone watched the balloons until they were out of sight. It was with a bit of sadness in our hearts knowing the younger years of being a Brownie is now gone.
However, the joy of growing up and learning to become leaders with the time they spend as being Girl Scouts quickly replaces the sadness with excitement.
It's time to say good bye to Christy as she has decided to step down from being the leader. We will also say good bye to our fellow Brownie sister, Alyssa, as she has decided to do Girl Scouts on her own rather then in a Troop.
Our plan is to bring in several new girls this year. So if you know of anyone who you think would be interested please let me know or give them my info. We would love to have them.
Here's to a wonderful and fun year ahead. I'm sure we will be making some super memories that we will all remember for a lifetime.
