ANGEL GAME AND BANNER PARADE 2012

We all met out at the parking lot and were thrilled to see the Big A showing the add with Trinity, for the OC Fair showing.

It was so exciting when I got an email from the Girl Scout Council saying they wanted to use Trinity's picture for the add.  Out of all the girls in OC, they picked her.  What an honor!

We had to sign in and get wrist bands then wait outside the stadium for the parade to start.  The girls were all so good.  Sometimes it can be a long dull time just waiting and waiting but, everyone was perfect!

Once it was time to go, everyone got super excited and even a bit nervous.  We stood in our place in line.  It was fun being in the tunnel.  It's a place most people don't get to go.

We could see the infield from where we were so we knew we were going to be seeing the crowd soon.  It was time to practice waving!

Before we knew it, it was our to walk out and the crowd was cheering and waving, taking pictures and  yelling out for the girl scouts.  They made us feel really special!

We all searched and searched hoping to spot our friends and family.   Guess what?  We did!  We actually found them in all those people!

I thought it was so sweet that the older girls said they wanted the younger girls to hold the banner and be up front because they got to do it last year and wanted them to have the fun they did.

We really do have some great girls that are very thoughtful in our troop.  I'm so proud of them.

Before we knew it, the parade was over and we were back outside.  We had to walk all the way around to the other side to our car so we could put the banner away.

We stopped for a photo op by the big hat.  It was hard to get them to all look at me for the picture as the sun was in the girls eyes but we got a pretty good shot anyway.

I can't believe this is our 3rd year of going to the Angel game and parade.  Time flies when you are having fun and we do have a lot of fun in our troop.

Once inside, we found our seats.  Thankfully, no one got a nose bleed from being up so high.

But, to be honest, I think the girls couldn't care less where they sat.  They just had fun, laughing, eating and being out at night with each other.

OK, maybe eating was the most fun.  There were nachos, hot dogs, cracker jacks, cotton candy, candy, cokes and even Chinese food.

It was so nice that so many family and friends came to support the girls this year.  The girls always enjoy having them come along.

Troop 746 are #1 fans for sure!

There were so many smiles!  I heard a lot of laughter and giggles going on too.  It was great just watching the girls having a wonderful time.

They even got to join in doing the WAVE.

Soon, it was time to say good bye for the night.  The time flew by.

We got to see Trinity's pretty face one more time before we left as they ad it up on the score board too.

We all went home, happy, full and tired!
