BOOTH SALES ARE GOING GREAT!

As we all know, it's COOKIE TIME!  The girls have been going door to door, asking friends and family, sending order forms to work with their parents and now doing booth sales, all in an attempt to sell hundreds and hundreds of boxes of cookies.

The colorful boxes of cookies are now being seen all over Orange County and the sound of "Girl Scout Cookies!" fills the air.

The first day of the sales was by far the best!  Everyone was happy to see the cookies out finally and were ready to buy up.

Jesse was full of energy and did a fantastic job of selling.

Our first Sat. booth sale started out a bit rough.  We had a prime location and two doors to sell at.  Four girls had signed up but only Trinity was able to make it.

She was able to hold down the fort and it turned out to be a great selling day for her.  Way to go Trinity!

Diana has been doing a super job of having booth sales out front of dad's place of employment.  We got her special permission to do this and it's been a great location for her.

She is doing a super job and has sold almost 500 boxes of cookies so far.  Great job Diana!

Going down the beach was a fun spot to sell at.  The crowds were big and there was a lot of fun people watching going.

Liz got really good at being loud as she sold her cookies.  Way to go Liz :)

It was the first year of selling for some of our girls.  While they all seem to start off shy at first, soon they get the hang of it and are selling like pros.

Skylar was so cute out there holding her sign and trying to get everyone to come over to the booth and pull their wallets out to purchase as many cookies as they could afford.

That's how you do it Skylar.  Keep up the good work!

One booth sale Trinity had sold 122 boxes of cookies.  Wow!  That was wonderful and a lot of hard work.  She is a super seller.  Perhaps she got some tips from her Daddy who is a great salesman too.

Liz has been working a lot of hours trying to sell 500 boxes of cookies.  With that kind of devotion I have no doubt she will hit her goal and even sell more then that!

Love that bright and colorful sign you made Liz.

Another day down at the beach was a lot of fun because we had lots of girl signed up.

This was Cailyn's first booth sale and she pick up on the way to sell right away.

Cailyn would switch from holding a sign to holding boxes of cookies.  I love how she would mix it up and try different things to get people buying.

It worked too.  Her bright smile couldn't be passed up by many without buying cookies.  Plus, she looked so nice in her uniform!  That's how it's done Cailyn!  Continue on the same way and I'm sure you too will reach your goal!

Another great sign by Nikkie!  Who could pass up these two happy girls with their cheerful signs?

Diana has been doing great in her location.  While she would love to do group booth sale, she has decided that since she has a great location it is better to stay there and sell, sell, sell.  I'm so proud of her.

Actually, I'm so very proud of our whole troop!  They really have stepped up and are working long hard hours.  They all set their goals and trying hard to reach them.

We still have about two weeks to go and we have lots of booth sales signed up by all the girls.

I know some of the girls are holding sales on their own that I'm not making it to.  If you have any pictures of the girls that you would like to share with me, please email them to and I'll add them to our blog :)

Thank you to the girls and of course to the parents.  I know cookie sales takes a lot out of your days but without you, we couldn't do 1/2 of the fun things we do in our troop.
